Blooming with Potential
Our Resident-Centric Approach
What began as a dream to deliver high-quality, affordable properties transformed into a mission to sustain housing for the families who call LDG communities home. Our Resident Services team reflects LDG Development’s commitment to long-term resident health and resilience, and was a long-term goal LDG co-founder Lisa Dischinger had for the company.
“In the early days of LDG, I was the primary contact for residents and saw first-hand how many struggled to meet the everyday demands of life and access some of the resources they needed to achieve some of the goals they have for their families. As we grew, we also expanded our definition of ‘quality’ by adding resident service coordinators at our communities who are charged with connecting families to resources and programs that would improve their living experience and could help our families and communities move to the next level.”
– Lisa Dischinger, Co-Founder of LDG Development
Resident Services Coordinators are vital in delivering on-site programs centered around health and wellness, education, and community engagement—our core program pillars supporting Solidago’s vision of enriching residents’ lives. With a consistent, visible presence, Coordinators become trusted sources of support and key advocates for residents’ needs. This trust is foundational to the success of community-wide initiatives such as after-school clubs, academic summer camps, financial empowerment workshops, and annual health fairs.
By addressing residents’ needs holistically, coordinators have helped implement impactful solutions—from installing food pantries and improving access to healthcare providers, to organizing social events that foster connection, safety, and a stronger sense of community identity.
Each Resident Services Coordinator is assigned to a maximum of two communities, allowing them to tailor programs to the specific needs of each development. This model helps break down systemic barriers like cost and transportation by ensuring accessible, on-site services. Integrating safety and support into every aspect of our communities lays the groundwork for residents to build stable, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

Rooted in Safety
Resident & Community
At LDG, we’re setting a new standard for safety in multifamily communities by investing in forward-thinking strategies that combine data, technology, and strong community partnerships. Our goal is simple yet powerful: to protect our residents and create a true sense of peace and security.
Through our Resident & Community Safety department, we take a proactive, data-driven approach to addressing potential issues before they escalate. By analyzing police reports, 911 call data, and other local insights, we gain a clear understanding of each community’s unique safety needs. This intelligence guides the strategic placement of Flock cameras, enhanced lighting, and security patrols—ensuring our resources deliver the greatest impact where they’re needed most.
Leading this initiative is Yvette Gentry, LDG’s Vice President of Portfolio Safety and Risk. With decades of law enforcement experience and as a former police chief, she brings a deep commitment to community-focused safety. She is helping our teams build relationships with local law enforcement agencies to foster safer and more connected communities.
”It was a great opportunity to combine my passions. I had spent all this time in law enforcement, then went away from it to work on policy for a nonprofit, which is also a passion. LDG gave me the opportunity to do both careers. I can be resident-centered and work with people, but also use my expertise in law enforcement.”
