Where Communities Bloom
Fueling Programs That Make a Difference
Supporting Communities, Inspiring Futures
Founded in 2023, the Rita June Foundation upholds and advances LDG’s resident-centric mission in multifamily housing. Named in honor of LDG Co-Founder Lisa Dischinger’s late grandmother, the foundation reflects the values of compassion, resilience, and community that shaped Rita June’s legacy.
The foundation is committed to driving meaningful impact through initiatives focused on education, health, eliminating homelessness and food insecurity, and expanding access to essential services. By supporting these critical areas, the Rita June Foundation helps ensure a stronger, more stable future for the communities LDG serves.

Partnerships in Bloom
Collaborating for Lasting Community Impact
At LDG, we are proud to partner with a network of mission-aligned organizations dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents. These collaborations are essential to creating communities that offer more than quality housing—they provide meaningful resources, services, and support that help residents feel at home.
Literacy Programs
Through our partnership with I’d Rather Be Reading, students across Texas, Tennessee, and Kentucky benefit from impactful after-school and summer literacy programs to boost academic achievement and build confidence. With nine active programs across our portfolio, this collaboration continues to open doors for countless students and families by making education more accessible and engaging.
Food Insecurity
To combat food insecurity, LDG works closely with the Central Texas Food Bank, providing residents with free meals and pantry staples at no cost. Communities like The Bridge at Canyon View and The Bridge at Cameron receive regular distributions of perishable and nonperishable foods and summer meal programs for youth. We also coordinate with smaller regional food banks to ensure consistent support throughout our Texas properties.
Our partnership with Dare to Care is critical in sustaining food access in Kentucky. From discounted food for community pantries and summer meals for youth to monthly commodity boxes for seniors at Brookstone Senior and Riverport Senior, their contributions ensure that residents of all ages receive the nourishment they need.
At LDG, we are deeply grateful for our partners who help us address critical needs beyond housing, creating pathways to stability, dignity, and opportunity.
Together, we’re helping communities bloom …
… one resident at a time.
Partnership Highlight
In December 2022, LDG Development and Bezos Academy began working together to explore bringing tuition-free, full-day preschools to LDG communities. So far, we have launched four schools together: Bezos Academy Dallas—Singing Hills, located in South Dallas, TX; Bezos Academy Louisville—Okolona; Bezos Academy Louisville—Russell; and Bezos Academy Louisville—Riverport.
All of the Bezos Academies will house four classrooms that, at full capacity, will serve up to 80 children. Students attending the academy will receive breakfast, lunch, snacks, an optional boxed dinner, and access to wrap-around services focused on improving the educational outcomes of impoverished children.

At LDG, we’ve set an ambitious goal: to serve over 60,000 families by 2035. This vision will be realized through strategic expansion into new markets, continued innovation, and a resident-focused approach grounded in quality.
But this goal is more than just a number—it reflects our deep commitment to ensuring access to high-quality housing for all. As we grow, we’re also focused on strengthening our organization’s foundation to better support our residents and our team.
By building greater structure, accountability, and alignment, we aim to preserve the unique culture that defines LDG while expanding our long-term impact in the communities we serve.
